In June perhaps, or more likely in December, the Italian rail operator is expected to offer three round trips a day on this route, as part of its new Paris-Lyon-Milan line.
For its part, Renfe has positioned itself on Lyon-Marseille, at the rate of five daily round trips.
The ex-Spanish monopoly planned to open this line in December.
It will be later, for questions of homologation of on-board systems, a dragging file.
“For this reason, the request for train paths that we have made is delayed,”
explains the operator.
