Vice President of the Turkish Republican People's Party, Faeq Oztrak, confirmed that the son-in-law of the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who over the years held the Finance Ministry, Berat Albayrak, wasted 128 billion from the treasury of the Turkish Central Bank.
The Turkish Zaman newspaper quoted Oztrak as saying that “there is not a single bond in the documents of the Turkish Central Bank on its official website that reveals how the 128 billion dollars came out from the bank’s treasury,” adding: “We need to know what was sold .. How was 128 billion sold. Dollar, why and to whom it sold.
Regarding Erdogan's praise of his son-in-law, Al-Bayraq, Oztrak said: "If Al-Bayraq was good, why did he change it ... and why did he bring a new administration? All these matters need an answer."
It is noteworthy that the Turkish Central Bank spent huge sums during two years during Al-Bayraq's tenure as Minister of Finance to support the local currency after the Turkish lira lost much of its value against foreign currencies and inflation rose dramatically due to the failed economic policies of Erdogan's regime that brought Turkey into an escalating crisis.
