The SNCF launched this Thursday the sale of tickets for the Paris-Nice night train, which must be relaunched on April 16.
The train, departing from Paris-Austerlitz at 8:52 p.m., will serve every day - except works - Marseille-Blancarde, Toulon, Les Arcs (Var), Saint-Raphaël (Var), Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes), Antibes (Alpes- Maritimes) and Nice.
Arrival is scheduled for 9:06 am, and in the other direction at 6:55 am, for a departure from Nice at 7:16 pm the day before, SNCF said in a press release.

Today (Thursday) we are opening for sale the first circulations of the April holidays and until the beginning of May.
The other dates will gradually open in March,
”said a spokesperson.
Tickets will be offered from 19 euros in an inclined seat, 29 euros in a second class berth and 39 euros in a first berth.

This Paris-Nice link was canceled in December 2017, but it has been relaunched as part of the government stimulus plan, as is the Paris-Tarbes, announced for the end of the year.
The State has allocated 100 million euros for the refreshing of the cars and the adaptation of the workshops.
Pending these reopenings, the SNCF still operates two routes, from Paris to Rodez, Latour-de-Carol (Pyrénées-Orientales) and Cerbère (Pyrénées-Orientales), as well as from Paris to Briançon (Hautes-Alpes).
The relaunch of Paris-Nice is also made possible by work on Paris-Briançon between March and December, which will make cars available while others are being renovated.
At the same time, Austrian railways ÖBB are due to relaunch a Paris-Vienna night train link in December.
In the longer term, the Minister for Transport Jean-Baptiste Djebbari recently mentioned “
around ten night trains in 2030
”.
A report on the matter is due in March to Parliament.
Regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, the SNCF recalls that barrier gestures also apply in night trains, where "
the wearing of a mask remains mandatory throughout the trip
".
The occupancy of the sleeper compartments is limited to four passengers (instead of the six usually in second class), in a “
head to tail
” position, while cars with reclining seats are occupied at the rate of one in two places.
The trains are cleaned and disinfected between each trip, and regularly during the trip on the parts of the train in contact with the hands of the travelers, specifies the company.
