Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Talal Al-Barazi discussed with the delegation of the Jordanian Chamber of Commerce headed by Nael Kabariti to revitalize economic cooperation relations and trade exchange between the two countries.
The Minister Al-Barazi affirmed Syria's readiness to provide all forms of support and facilities necessary to revitalize the movement of economic cooperation and trade exchange, especially the transit trade, due to its vital role in stimulating the flow of goods between the two sides and the markets of other countries, stressing the importance of exchanging visits between businessmen and members of the chambers of commerce in the two countries and organizing exhibitions and festivals. For his part, Kabariti stressed the keenness of the Jordanian economic activities to activate the movement of trade exchange with Syria and facilitate the flow of goods to the markets of the two countries, remove all obstacles and problems that hinder this, and the integration between the various economic and industrial activities, expressing his hope that the next meeting of the Arab Chambers of Commerce will be held in Syria.
The meeting was attended by Muhammad Abu Al-Hoda Al-Lahham, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce.
