This is a new train that appears, since Thursday, in the list of tickets available to reach the south of France or the capital from the south.
The SNCF opened, this Thursday, sales of tickets for the Paris-Nice night train, which is to be relaunched on April 16 after three years of shutdown.
The train, departing from Paris-Austerlitz at 8:52 p.m., will serve Marseille-Blancarde (Bouches-du-Rhône), Toulon (Var), Les Arcs (Var), Saint-Raphaël (Var), Cannes (Alps) every day. -Maritimes), Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes) and Nice.
Arrival is scheduled for 9:06 a.m., and in the other direction at 6:55 a.m., for a departure from Nice at 7:16 p.m.
"Today (Thursday) we are opening for sale the first circulations of the April holidays and until the beginning of May," said a spokesperson for the SNCF.
The other dates will gradually open in March.
»Tickets are available from 19 euros in a reclined seat, 29 euros in a second class berth and 39 euros in a first berth.
Discount cards are valid on these routes.
Around ten night trains by 2030
This Paris-Nice link was canceled in December 2017, but it has been relaunched as part of the government stimulus plan, as is the Paris-Tarbes, announced for the end of the year.
The State has allocated 100 million euros for the refreshment of cars and the adaptation of workshops.

Pending these reopenings, the SNCF still operates two routes, from Paris to Rodez, Latour-de-Carol (Pyrénées-Orientales) and Cerbère (Pyrénées-Orientales), as well as from Paris to Briançon (Hautes-Alpes).
The relaunch of Paris-Nice is also made possible by work on Paris-Briançon between March and December, which will make the cars available until others are renovated.
At the same time, Austrian railways ÖBB are due to relaunch a Paris-Vienna night train link in December.
In the longer term, the Minister for Transport Jean-Baptiste Djebbari recently mentioned “around ten night trains in 2030”.
