Many Germans want to attend major events again this year.
However, especially the younger ones demand strict rules.
This was the result of a representative survey by the Institute for Generational Research.
46 percent of those surveyed demand a negative corona test as an entry ticket to major events.
While just under a third of those over 60 years of age are in favor of compulsory testing, the value for Generation Z (16 to 26 years) is more than 50 percent.
85 percent of the younger generation are apparently even willing to pay a surcharge for a hygiene concept in addition to the ticket price.
For those over 60, it is only 46 percent.
Most Germans, 73 percent, want to participate in smaller events such as sports courses, seminars or cinema screenings again from spring.
61 percent stated that they would wait until summer to attend concerts, festivals or theater performances.
More than half of the respondents reject a visitor limit.
