With the health crisis linked to Covid-19, Engie reduced its investments from 7.1 to 4 billion euros between 2019 and 2020. They made it possible to develop 3 GW of solar and wind capacity, and to acquire 2 GW additional , mainly in hydropower.
Investments should approach 6 billion euros this year, largely devoted to renewables.
In 2021, 3 GW of new capacities in this area are planned.
