For his part, craftsman Muhammad Husayn Namira, owner of a workshop for the manufacture of copperware and oriental antiques, indicated that he is looking to benefit from the microfinance loan to improve his craft and develop it and introduce new varieties of copperware into the production process, stressing the importance of canceling routine procedures and facilitating obtaining the necessary loans for the rehabilitation and development of facilities in the copper market that It witnessed massive sabotage from terrorism.

The craftsman, Muhammad Hayek, who works in the field of oriental decoration of woodwork and Arabesque calligraphy, referred to the difficult conditions in which he works as a result of the devastation that befell his shop in the Al-Kallasa neighborhood due to terrorism, wishing to obtain a loan from microfinance banks to buy modern machines that would help him develop his craft and contribute to employing new labor .

Omar Rawas, who works in the artisan craftsmanship and manufacture of handmade carpets, drew attention to the importance of obtaining funding to purchase new wooden looms for the manufacture of hand-made carpets and to expand his workplace to train workers in this craft and enable him to restore and rehabilitate his shop in the old city market.

Abdel Qader Najjar, head of the Craft Association for Carpentry and Wooden Furniture in Aleppo, spoke about the necessity for craftsmen to benefit from Law No. 8 and to obtain soft loans to rehabilitate their facilities and start production, revealing that the number of craftsmen in the Wood Society reached 1892, calling all craftsmen to return to work and production by taking advantage of bank loans Microfinance.

For his part, the President of the Tiles, Marble and Cement Products Association, Muhammad Babi, pointed out that the current number of craftsmen in the association is 148 out of a thousand craftsmen who were working in their facilities before the war, and they are working today under difficult conditions due to lack of funding and damage to their facilities, expressing his hope that the craftsmen will be empowered. From taking advantage of microfinance loans to improve their production and financial conditions and to introduce new production lines and machines.
