The General Fodder Corporation has extended the period for poultry farmers to receive feed materials until the ninth of this March.
Assistant Director of the Foundation, Engineer Uday Omar, said in a statement to SANA that, in order to ensure that all the breeders receive their allocations, the receipt period has been extended for a week, indicating that 90 percent of the breeders received their allocations from the fodder cycle that was until the end of last February.
Omar indicated that the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, with the aim of securing broiler products at reasonable prices in the market, at the end of last year granted the layer chicken breeder fodder materials at the subsidized price, including 1250 grams of corn and 250 grams of barley per bird, and the broiler breeder also granted 1700 grams of yellow corn and 300 grams of soybean meal for the broiler. The one is at the subsidized price as well.
