About 26 billion euros of the recovery plan have been deployed since January 1, said Monday the Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire, who detailed the increase of several envelopes to "

accelerate

" further the recovery despite the persistence of the epidemic.

"

We are at 16 billion euros on March 1 deployed under the recovery plan

", to which must be added the reduction of 10 billion euros in production taxes, said Bruno Le Maire during a press briefing. .

"

We are above (...) the objectives

", which aim to mobilize 40 billion euros over the whole of 2021, after 10 billion in 2020, he added.

The recovery plan is endowed with 100 billion euros in credits by 2022 in order to support the economic recovery, after a year 2020 marked by a crisis unprecedented since the Second World War.

It has three essential components: support for industrial investment, ecological transition, and support for training and employment for young people.

Already, this plan "

gives very tangible results

", welcomed Bruno Le Maire, citing youth unemployment "

content

", the deployment of electric vehicles or the opening of new rail links.

Relocation of critical industrial sectors

More than 30,000 companies have benefited from it at this stage, and a million households and young people, said the minister, who wants to "

accelerate

" because "

it is now that (...) is playing

" the economic recovery.

For this, one billion euros of credits will be redeployed on devices that are crumbling under demands, confirmed Bruno Le Maire.

The relocation of critical industrial sectors will be endowed with an additional 250 million euros, i.e. an overall envelope of 850 million, while the Territoires d'Industrie system, which pays subsidies for industrial investments, will benefit from 150 million euros in more than the 400 million planned.

Finally, the financing of the digitization of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises sees its envelope increase from 280 million to 880 million euros, detailed the Minister.

"

We redeploy funds from projects that are not progressing fast enough to projects that are moving faster,

" explained Mr. Le Maire, without detailing which budgets would be reduced as a result.

"The

only limit

" is that "

the objective of credits for sustainable development and the fight against global warming remains as important as ever

," he said.

This part of the plan represents about a third of the credits mobilized.
