The seven organizations are asking for the opening of negotiations “
on classifications in the private sector and index grids in the public service

salaries in predominantly female occupations

upgraded
”.
They also want the gender equality index to be “
corrected
” to “
effectively eliminate pay gaps
”.

The transparency obligations and the resources of the CSE in terms of information and social dialogue need to be strengthened and employers must release the necessary salary catch-up envelopes.

prevention of gender-based and sexual violence be a compulsory subject in companies under penalty of sanctions for employers

They ask for the application of a convention and a recommendation of the International Labor Organization (ILO) with regard to the "
labor protection of victims of domestic violence (right to chosen geographical and functional mobility, paid absences, coverage of medical and social costs free of charge, prohibition of dismissals, etc.)

Other requests: the strengthening of public services, "
in particular with regard to the care of children and the loss of autonomy
";
the abandonment of the unemployment insurance reform, which penalizes "
the most precarious, often women

and the use of the recovery plan to “
fight against poverty, precarious and part-time contracts and layoffs

This rare joint statement was not signed by the CFTC.

We did not wish to be a signatory to a text that does not only concern the professional sphere.
