The two Savoyard ski resorts have pushed these offers to owners of mountain accommodation, so that the beds in their apartments do not remain unoccupied once the winter school holidays have ended.
It is therefore now possible to rent an apartment in Courchevel from 1400 euros per month, or 40% cheaper than usual;
or from 790 euros in Saint-François-Longchamp, a half-price offer.
"In view of the displayed price, we are of course on a long stay offer but if a teleworker wishes to stay three weeks instead of four, it is obviously possible to discuss",
explains Sylvain Girard, director of the tourist office of Saint- François-Longchamp, a resort located on the slopes of the Col de la Madeleine.
These apartments have at least two rooms.
It cannot be a studio because you need a minimum of comfort to telework
Alexia Lainé, Marketing Director of Courchevel
In Courchevel, fourteen properties are listed on the resort's reservation platform against a hundred in the Mauritian resort.
“These apartments have at least two rooms.
It cannot be a studio because you need a minimum of comfort to telework ”
, specifies Alexia Lainé, Marketing Director of Courchevel.
To date, only around ten tenants have subscribed to these offers which are obviously not intended to compensate for the shortfall for winter sports resorts whose ski lifts are closed this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. .
