Pony launches free-floating electric bikes in Paris

From Thursday morning, the French start-up will offer electric bicycles at discounted prices on a few trips in the capital.

Pony will deploy 500 dark blue and light blue devices.

Vélib 'offers 6,500 electric bicycles with terminal.

Initially, it was Uber who operated these bikes through the company Jump.

In May 2020, Lime bought this asset from the King of the VTC and relaunched it in July under its own brand.

With the return of sunny days, Lime will increase the size of its fleet and increase to 5,000 bicycles by the end of March-beginning of April.
