Thales blamed the crisis but limited its impact while retaining its critical skills.
Its turnover fell "only" by 10%, to 16.9 billion euros, and its profitability, although deteriorated, reached a correct level, at 8% of sales, against 10.9% in 2019. The group remained in the green with a net profit of 937 million, down 33%.
We are clearly above market expectations in terms of cash generation at more than one billion euros, while our order intake, maintained at a high level (18.5 billion euros), testify the confidence of our customers and give visibility to our activity and our employees
