The Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade called on those wishing to invest according to the import substitution program to inform them of any problems they face that need to be addressed according to scientific foundations so that they can be formulated as research projects in coordination with the Higher Commission for Scientific Research.
The ministry stated in a statement, which SANA received a copy of, that this procedure comes within the framework of achieving effective interconnection between the executive government agencies at their various levels, the productive and service sectors, and the scientific research bodies, in a way that contributes to investing the knowledge structure in the interest of developing the sectors of the national economy.
