Minister Scholz (left) and Altmaier: utter chaos

The Turkish café, the Asian travel agency, the German paper shop: Kantstrasse in the Charlottenburg district was once the lively shopping and nightlife area of multicultural, diverse Berlin.
But in the never-ending lockdown, dozens of traders and restaurateurs have since given up, barricaded the doors and cleared the inventory.
The »silent dying« on the former consumer route was recently even worth a long, nostalgic feature section in the venerable »FAZ«.
There is a great danger that there will soon be Kantstraßen everywhere in Germany, and that is not only due to the virus, which is driving one wave of infection after another through the republic.
But also because of a failed economic policy.
Believing that we are dealing with one of the usual economic downturns, Peter Altmaier (CDU) and Olaf Scholz (SPD) have launched a multi-billion dollar program that they proudly call "Bazooka".
However, a large-caliber cannon with maximum scattering effect is not required in the pandemic, as has meanwhile been found.
It's a precision weapon.
