The New York Stock Exchange rose early Wednesday after the publication of US inflation figures in line with market expectations, temporarily reassuring investors on a too sharp rise in prices.

A few minutes after the opening, the Dow Jones rose 0.72% to 32,063.22 points, the Nasdaq, with a strong technological coloring, from 1.16% to 13,225.04 points and the extended S&P 500 index from 0, 64% at 3,900.30 points.
