The French display giant JCDecaux announced Thursday that it had lived in 2020 "the most difficult year in its history" by recording its first net loss of 605 million euros, due to global health measures against the Covid-19 pandemic which has constrained its activity.

The group, which has sharply reduced its costs, anticipates a 40% constant drop in its turnover in the first quarter of 2021 - especially in Europe and despite a strong rebound in mainland China - and has decided not to pay any dividends in 2021 for the second year in a row.
