Monoprix and Amazon extend their alliance

2021-03-11T07:19:53.385Z

Sales of groceries prepared by the distributor and delivered by the e-merchant are growing strongly. Two and a half years after the launch of this service, the two partners want to accelerate its deployment.

The American, for its part, is expanding its food offer in France, a business where margins are low, but recurring purchases and valuable data.

The two distributors now draw up a positive assessment of this alliance, and are accelerating the deployment of their joint offer.

In practice, it consists of delivering products sold by Monoprix to Amazon Prime subscribers within two hours.

"Sales of Monoprix via Amazon Prime Now grew last year three times that of the market"

, itself boosted by the pandemic, rejoices Jean-Paul Mochet, the president.
