Three years ago, Monoprix shook up the mass distribution sector by joining forces with Amazon to deliver food shopping to homes.
Between the French distributor and the American logistics specialist, this pact was the result of a well-understood convergence of interests: Monoprix thus boosts its online offer and gleans new customers from Amazon loyalists.
The American, for its part, is expanding its food offer in France, a business where margins are low, but recurring purchases and valuable data.

The two distributors now draw up a positive assessment of this alliance, and are accelerating the deployment of their joint offer.
In practice, it consists of delivering products sold by Monoprix to Amazon Prime subscribers within two hours.
