The Damascus Stock Exchange trading session closed today on a trading volume of 206,179 shares distributed over 126 transactions, with a total trading value of 212,063 million Syrian pounds, while the index closed at 10,175.57 points, down 18.12 points, with a change rate of 0,18 percent.
As a result of today's trading, the shares of 4 banks and companies rose, namely, Al-Sham Bank by 0,42 percent, Al-Baraka by 0,73 percent, Bemo Saudi Fransi by 0,48 percent, and the Syrian International Insurance Company by 4,89 percent.
The shares of 6 banks and companies decreased, namely Bank Audi Syria by 1.97 percent, Syria International Islamic Bank by 0.11 percent, Al-Aqeela Takaful Insurance Company by 1.98 percent, Al-Ahlia Vegetable Oil Industry Company by 1.999 percent, Fransabank by 1.92 percent, and Qatar National Bank by 1.63 percent.
The shares of the International Bank for Trade and Finance and the Arab banks, Syria, the Gulf, the East, Syria and the Diaspora did not record any change in their prices, as they closed equal to the closing prices of the previous trading session, while the other companies listed on the market did not witness any deal on their shares.
