The annual shareholders' meeting will be held on May 28, remotely due to the health situation.

The board of directors will present a resolution

on the group's ambition in terms of sustainable development and energy transition, the group said in a press release.

The agenda will also include the renewal of the mandate of Patrick Pouyanné until 2024. The latter has also announced his intention to

“voluntarily reduce his fixed compensation by 25% from May 1, 2020, in view of the context exceptional economy, ”

adds Total.

On May 28, shareholders will also be called upon to confirm the change of the group's corporate name to “TotalEnergies SE”.
