The price of a gram of 21 carat gold in the local market today has decreased by 15 thousand Syrian pounds from the highest price recorded last Thursday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, the 21-carat gram of gold recorded the selling price of 215,000 Syrian pounds and the purchase price of 214500 Syrian pounds, while the 18-karat gram reached the selling price of 184,286 pounds and the purchase price of 183,786 pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the price it issued, and also called on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except in accordance with the bulletin issued by the association. It also distributed telephone numbers for complaints 2230766 and 2248005.
