The price of a gram of 21 carat gold in the local market today decreased by 15 thousand pounds from the highest price recorded last Saturday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, the 21-carat gram of gold recorded the selling price of 200,000 pounds and the purchase price of 199,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached the selling price of 171429 pounds and the purchase price of 170,929 pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the price it issued, and it also called on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed telephone numbers for complaints 2248005 -0991937718.
The price of a gram of 21-carat gold in the local market last Saturday reached 215,000 pounds as a selling price and 214500 pounds as a purchase price.
