The CSE wants figures on the forecast results of "

two other sites linked to the reorganization of Le Havre, either Duisburg (Germany, editor's note) and Olean

" (United States), according to the order.

Questioned by AFP, the management indicated that it was going to appeal.

The consultation of the CSE on the strategic orientations which took place on February 11, prior to that on the job protection plan (PSE), is canceled and will be organized again within one month of the communication of the requested figures, according to the ordinance.

For the management, "

the ordinance does not call into question in any way the process initiated

" providing for the elimination of 272 positions out of 546, "

nor its schedule

", which contests the lawyer of the CSE Nicolas Capron.

"

Validation expected within a fortnight

"

According to him, the PES cannot be validated by the labor management as long as the consultation on the strategic orientations is not reorganized.

Management considers that the opinion issued on March 18 by the CSE on the PSE is sufficient to validate this plan sent to the State on Monday, with "

validation expected within a fortnight

".

The majority CGT refused to comment on the PSE, which was considered a negative opinion by management.

According to the CSE, management wants to outsource the manufacture of compressors for the oil and gas industry, which management denies.

"

Wouldn't the commitments made to the German union IG Metall oblige

" Siemens to "

maintain Duisburg at all costs

", to the detriment of Le Havre, the CGT asked on March 18.

The management affirms that positions are also cut in Duisburg and Olean (500 out of more than 800 on the American site), without giving an official figure for the German site.

A source close to the company said that 360 to 370 jobs out of 1,900 would be cut there.

Siemens Energy France announced in September its intention to close the Le Havre compressor manufacturing unit while maintaining a maintenance activity.

"

The oil market is volatile and unpredictable, and Dresser Rand has encountered difficulties in France for several years

", explained the president of Siemens Energy France, Samuel Morillon.
