To the increases that were already materialized in March, the adjustments for the fourth month of the year will now be added.

The strong rises do not stop putting pressure on skinny pockets and add stress to inflation, and even shake the goal of 29% set by Martín Guzmán.

In March there were adjustments in prepaid, private schools (for those that receive state aid), domestic service, gasoline, and subways, among others.

Inflation accumulates 7.8% in the first two months of the year and could reach 12% if, as estimated by analysts, the March data is around 4% again.

The increases planned for April range from public transport in the City to services, and fuels.

There will also be a 10% adjustment in the salaries of domestic staff, and the expenses will increase as a result of the joint agreement that the building managers achieved.

And, in the fourth month of the year, they will charge the withdrawal at the ATMs again.

Transportation in the City

After the rise in March, the

passage of the subway and premetro

will rise again - as planned - from April 18.

Riding any of the six subway lines will cost $ 30, while the premetro will hit $ 10.70 next month.

The total increase will be 43% but

the bonus scheme for frequent travelers with SUBE and Monedero cards is maintained.

In these cases, the

automatic discounts of 20%, 30% and 40% will be maintained

for passengers who make more than 20, 30 or 40 trips per month, respectively.

On the other hand, traveling by subway will also increase from the $ 25.50 to which it arrived in March, it will go to $ 30 in April.

Taxis

There will be a second hike in taxis in March, after the increase in late February.

The flag drop will be at $ 85.70 in April.

The day token

, which falls every 200 meters or one minute of waiting, will

increase to $ 8.57 next

month and

the night token

, which is charged between 10 pm and 6 am,

will cost $ 10.28

.

The total increase in taximeters will be 44%.

Gasoline

Following this month's increases, YPF announced that it will once again make a 5% adjustment in pump prices.

This is the second of three 5% increases.

In March, oil companies applied an increase in fuels of 7% on average throughout the country.

That was the first of three staggered increases planned for the coming months that seek to achieve a 15% rise in gasoline and diesel prices.

The increase applied in the City of Buenos Aires, the fifth so far this year, left the current prices in the pumps of the Buenos Aires service stations at $ 80.50 for a liter of super gasoline and $ 92.90 for a liter of premium gasoline and $ 75.70 for diesel and $ 89.30 for premium diesel.

Once the tranche of increases planned for April and May is completed, the price of a liter of premium gasoline would reach $ 100.

Domestic service

In the last joint venture, closed at the end of November last year, domestic workers agreed to an increase of 28%, divided into three tranches: the first two installments were 10% in December and 8% in February.

The next increase will arrive in April, it will be 10% and will complete the agreed increase.

In the case of staff for general tasks, the hour with retirement will remain at $ 171 from April and the monthly salary for staff without a bed will have a minimum value of $ 20,987.

Without retirement, the hour will go up to $ 183.50, and the monthly salary will exceed $ 23,300.

Expenses

The building managers closed jointly and in April they will receive a salary adjustment, which will impact the value of the expenses.

The union closed a parity of 32% that in April will have its first quota of 7%.

According to industry benchmarks, the improvement in the salaries of managers will translate into an increase of around 5% and 7% in expenses, since the pocket adjustment is added to the employer charges that the consortiums must pay.

ATM machines

From April, banks will charge again for the use of ATMs that belong to a network or entity different from the one that issued the debit card.

In this way, it will return to the prepandemic mode.

How much do you have to pay to withdraw cash from an ATM from a network other than your own (Banelco or Red Link)?

The value depends on each entity.

For example, the Nation charges $ 142.78, the Province, $ 49 and City, $ 82.48.

BBVA, $ 72.60, Santander, $ 93.21;

Galicia, $ 95;

HCBC, $ 113.28;

ICBC, $ 78.55;

Itaú, $ 73.41;

Comafi, $ 93.17;

Credicoop, $ 61.71;

Macro, $ 108.90;

Supervielle, $ 71.01;

among others.

Light and Gas

The companies that are part of the generation and distribution of gas and electricity are in the process of public hearings to define a transition rate scheme, after last year's freeze.

The rates of public energy services will have the first increase of the presidency of Alberto Fernández towards the end of April or the beginning of May.

In the last public gas hearing, the distributors requested a tariff recomposition for December 2021. The companies requested a minimum recomposition of 50% (it would directly impact a 15% increase in the ballots), always having as a horizon that that would last until the end of the year.

In the case of electric power, on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 will be the public hearings for national transport and metropolitan distribution (which have a weight of 29% in the bills, according to a study by the Association of Electric Power Distributors). Adeera).

Edenor asked for a final 31% increase in the tickets for residential users, while Edesur proposed a final 34%.

Far from this, the undersecretary of Electric Power, Federico Basualdo, and the inspector of the National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE), María Soledad Manin, promised that the update "will not be an adjustment" and that wages will earn him a good balance to rate increases.

None of them risk a percentage, but the increase that the government is seeking is in the order of 7% to 9%.
