ANSeS clarified that the $ 1,500 bonus to be collected in April and May will be paid to retirees and pensioners who earn up to $ 30,857.16, while those who earn between that sum and $ 32,357.16 the bonus will be equal to the difference until reaching this amount , according to decree 218/2021 published today in the Official Gazette.
Thus, for example, those who receive $ 27,000 the bonus will be $ 1,500, while those who receive $ 31,000, the bonus will be $ 1,357.16 and those who receive $ 32,000, the bonus will be $ 357.16.
With this scheme, the total amount to be charged with the inclusion of the bond is equalized at $ 32,357.16.
The decree specifies that with the cap of $ 32,357.16 the bonus will be received by retirees and pensioners of the national system (SIPA), those who collect the PUAM (Universal Pension for the Elderly) and non-contributory pensions for old age, disability and mothers of 7 sons or daughters or more and other non-contributory pensions and ex gratia pensions.
In total there are almost 5 million beneficiaries
.
The PUAM is equivalent to 80% of the minimum credit and non-contributory pensions are 70% of the minimum credit.
As it is an
extraordinary bonus, it does not integrate the monthly credit
or modify the value of the minimum retirement of $ 20,571.44 for the months of March, April and May.
This means that the bonus is not part of the basis on which future increases in assets will be applied
.
The next mobility adjustment is in June.
The decree clarifies that "the extraordinary subsidies granted by this decree do not reach the Retirement and Pension Regimes of the Police Forces or the Penitentiary Service of the Provinces whose pension systems were transferred to the National State, when that is their only benefit."
The decision to grant a bonus was made to compensate a sector of retirees and pensioners for the meager increase of 8.07% that arose in the mobility index for the months of March, April and May, facing an inflation that is estimated to be around 11 % for the first three months of this year.
