Shoe sellers, sports shops and leather goods will also be concerned.
In total,
"about 35,000 companies"
will share an envelope of
"about 200 million"
euros, said the minister on RTL radio.
"Those who, in November, received the solidarity fund, we will pay them 80% of what they received in November, in addition to the usual aid
," he explained.
Offset balances at half mast
This new aid, which should be paid in late April or early May, should be used to offset the lower sales recorded by these businesses in recent months, despite the winter sales at the start of the year.
During this promotional period, sales were 25% to 30% lower than in 2020, estimated Alain Griset.
