The new health restrictions imposed in France will have an economic impact on growth, the Minister of the Economy and Finance, Bruno Le Maire suggested on Friday morning.

Without giving any figures yet, he conceded that the 5.8% GDP growth forecast anticipated so far could be revised downwards.

In an attempt to stem the "
