Complaint against X from Pierre Fabre Laboratory after a cyberattack


On March 31, part of the laboratory's production had to be stopped after a fraudulent entry of data into the computer system.

The Pierre Fabre laboratory filed a complaint against X following a cyberattack on March 31, which caused the shutdown of a large part of the production of its pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.

Disruptions continued to affect production sites, but a return to normal is expected in the coming days, according to the company.

Pierre Fabre, an unlisted group, achieved a turnover of 2.2 billion euros in 2020, of which 65% abroad.

It has several business segments, dermo-cosmetics constituting the majority of its sales (around 60%).

Pierre Fabre, pharmacist and founder in 1962 of this company, died in 2013 at the age of 87.

The group is 86% owned by the Pierre Fabre Foundation.
