New York-Sana

Oil prices fell and lost nearly two percent this week in light of production increases and renewed shutdowns against Covid 19 in some countries, which cast a shadow over the state of optimism about the recovery of fuel demand.

Reuters reported that Brent crude futures fell 22 cents, or 0.4 percent, to determine the settlement price at $ 62.95 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude closed down 28 cents, or 0.5 percent, at $ 59.32.
