1. What are the main rights of users of financial services

Users of financial services have the right to receive

equitable and dignified treatment,

to the protection of their security and economic interests;

to obtain adequate and truthful information about the terms and conditions of the services that they contract, as well as to

receive a copy of the instruments they sign

and freedom of choice.

People with reduced mobility have the right to priority care

and, if they have visual difficulties, they must be provided with the appropriate instruments for their access to financial services.

For those who have exercised the right to have their identity recognized, financial institutions are obliged to rectify the identity and reprint all the essential elements such as debit card, credit card, account statements and others.

In addition, the entity must guarantee

dignified treatment on issues of gender, modesty and privacy.

2. How to turn to people responsible for customer service in banks

All banks are required to inform

at least one person responsible for customer service

as the owner and one as a substitute, with a contact telephone number and email.

The Central Bank publishes this information on its website.

Financial companies, card issuers and other entities covered by the regulations on Protection of Users of Financial Services also have the obligation to inform those responsible for customer service.

3. How to unsubscribe a product

Banks must
