The subsidies allocated by the IDFM alone are quadrupled, to 800 million per year.

These are 14 metro lines, 341 bus lines, 8 tram lines, as well as RER A and B, the busiest lines in Europe co-operated by RATP and SNCF.
The contract introduces a more demanding bonus-malus system in terms of customer satisfaction with increased objectives.
It provides for an envelope of 100 million euros, against 25 million in the previous contract, of which 25 million are linked to the result of a customer perception survey on the quality of service, against 2.5 million previously.
This bonus-malus should encourage the RATP to do better in all areas: regularity and punctuality of trains, cleanliness, safety, reception… In all, some 200 criteria are used to assess the quality of the service provided by RATP.
