The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) will reimburse more than $ 973 million to monotributistas and freelancers who
paid their obligations on time
by automatic debit or credit card
during 2020
.
The agency reported that the benefit to compliance
reaches more than 484,000 small taxpayers
throughout the country: 399,000 monotributistas and 85,000 self-employed.
The measure implemented by the body headed by Mercedes Marcó del Pont consists of the return of
a portion of the tax component
paid throughout the year.
It reaches out
to those who have paid their monthly installment in a timely manner
, and the beneficiaries will receive an amount
equivalent to the monthly integrated tax.
The payment will be
automatically credited to the bank accounts or credit cards
attached as a means of payment for each of the compliant taxpayers.
Those taxpayers who started the activity last year and therefore did not
pay for a
full 12 months will have a
50% refund
, provided that the amount of installments paid on time was from 6 to 11.
The credited amount -or the reasons for which the refund was not made- can be consulted in the "CCMA" Current Account of Monotributistas and Autónomos, which is entered with a tax code.
In order to cushion the economic impact of the pandemic, the agency recalled that more than 600,000 credits were granted at zero rate and benefits for small taxpayers provided for in the 2020 Moratorium. In addition, the ex officio cancellations and monotax exclusions were suspended.
