Latin America: 2021 growth forecast revised up to 4.1%

The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, a technical body of the United Nations based in Santiago (Chile), now expects stronger growth than expected in its previous estimate in December (+ 3.7%).

"The region experienced a decline of 7.1% in 2020 and should see its economy grow by 4.1% this year, which will not however allow it to return to the level of activity before the pandemic"
