The French group Vivendi and the Italian Mediaset announced on Monday that they had
"reached a global agreement putting an end to their differences by waiving all disputes and all complaints between them"
, according to a joint press release with also the family holding company Berlusconi, Fininvest.

Vivendi, Mediaset's second shareholder, has undertaken to sell all of the 19.19% of Mediaset's capital frozen by Simon Fiduciaria within five years, and will remain a shareholder of the Italian media group at 4.61% . The conflict began in 2016.
