The 8th edition of the Big Bang, a bi-annual event organized by the editorial staff of Le Figaro, will take place from June 1 to 3 in a digital format, due to the health crisis.

Business leaders are currently facing three major transformations: a real big bang for work, their civic engagement - under pressure from public opinion - and their environmental responsibility.

So many colossal challenges that will be at the center of the 8th edition of the Big Bang, a bi-annual event organized by the editorial staff of

Figaro

and which will take place from June 1 to 3 in a digital format.

The Big Bang of Businesses

With the health crisis, the spread of teleworking is causing a real revolution in human resources management, at the heart of the debates on June 1.

Tomorrow: the company without employees?

The philosopher Julia de Funès, opening at 11 a.m., and the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, Bruno Le Maire, in closing, at noon, will speak on these transformations, accelerated by the digital revolution.

The health crisis also highlighted the role played by private actors who came to the aid of the State, as for the production of masks.

CSR and the raison d'être are at the center of the concerns of many companies, thanks to the Pacte law.

The morning of June 2, opened by Carlos Tavares, Managing Director of Stellantis (PSA-Fiat Chrysler), will be devoted to corporate citizenship.

But should the latter replace the State?

The philosopher Monique Canto-Sperber, former president of the ENS, will answer this question in the context of a debate.

The third morning, dedicated to the environmental responsibility of companies, which is experiencing a strong acceleration, will be opened by Bertrand Piccard, president of Solar Impulse, with his 1000 solutions for the climate, and closed by the Minister of Ecological Transition, Barbara Pompili.

Always with the same transversal approach which is at the heart of its DNA, this Big Bang of companies will be punctuated by various modules: reports - as in Le Havre, aboard the CMA-CGM LNG-powered ship, with the testimony of its mayor, Édouard Philippe -, elevator pitches of start-ups, opinions of personalities, preconceived ideas dissected by editorial journalists… Enough to shed light on business leaders thirsty for inspiration.
