It's a great success for the French technological nugget Secure-IC.
The start-up, specializing in on-board cybersecurity, has been selected by Darpa, the advanced research agency of the US Department of Defense, to secure the electronic components that pepper its prototypes.

La Darpa is a prestigious reference for the Rennes-based company, established in Silicon Valley since March 2020, which aims to win over other customers across the Atlantic.
Darpa took an interest in innovative software and tailor-made solutions developed by Secure-IC to protect embedded systems and connected objects from sophisticated cyber attacks, which can be activated.
