Within days of the April inflation being known, the Government defined a new basket of basic and accessible prices.
It is a price agreement that includes 120 products at frozen prices
, made with food companies for neighborhood or neighborhood stores (it will not be in supermarkets).

This was presented by the Minister of Productive Development, Matías Kulfas, when participating in the fifth meeting of the Argentine Federal Council Against Hunger, which was headed by President Alberto Fernández at the Casa Rosada Bicentennial Museum, along with other officials and representatives of civil society .
One of the novelties that the agreement brings is that the prices are printed on the labels, with

The Government's bet is that it has
greater capillarity than the "Care prices" that are only available in chain branches.
Therefore, from the portfolio that Minister Kulfas commands, they told Clarín that they are advancing in two directions: meetings with companies that have their own distribution and in parallel with other groups that sell to wholesalers.

Kulfas highlighted, last Friday, the effectiveness of Precious Care in large supermarkets but warned that this segment covers only 30% of the market.

The program will be valid for 180 days "to provide certainty and avoid volatility" in the prices of a list of food, beverages and personal hygiene, Kulfas said during the announcement.
Last week, Kulfas also announced
a new price agreement for beef cuts that will be in force from May 11
until the end of the year, which will be available from Monday to Friday in 3,000 outlets throughout the country, through an understanding with the Consorcio Exportador ABC.

agreement will include 11 cuts of beef and will add direct sales through trucks
that will travel through Greater Buenos Aires
