In the video: How will women arrive with confidence for a job interview?
(Edit: Stick Pages)
On the way to a job interview, the thoughts in our head always start to run and with them, so are the concerns: Are we really fit for the job? And what if we are not accepted? How much salary to demand? If we ask too much - surely they will not accept us.
Lots of women know this inner talk. In the world of work, women tend to underestimate them and think that first of all they need to gather evidence and only then are they allowed to declare - I am worth it!
Therefore, they dare to approach a tender or bid for a position only when they are convinced that they have all the necessary experience and skills, and if they are already approaching, they will usually ask for a lower salary compared to men, who do not hesitate to try and hope to succeed.
From a young age, society educates us that we are most charming when we are gentle and modest. Being confident is a trait that is considered neither feminine nor attractive. Women have internalized this, it is in their subconscious and it is difficult for them to compete for positions and salaries, and present an attitude that says they are worth a lot.
It's time to dump her and move on.
When a woman negotiates for others, she will not be afraid to ask for more.
So why for herself yes?
No reason.
When you want to be hired and get a decent wage, do not concentrate on trying to prove that you are equal and worthy, but think about the needs that this wage is supposed to support.
Thus, the fear will disappear.
If you came to the interview - you will be both good and equal.
