announced on Sunday, Frenchman Antoine de Saint-Affrique will take over the general management of Danone from September 15, recently shaken by a governance crisis and the ousting of ex-CEO Emmanuel Faber, announced the group Monday.
CEO of the Swiss chocolate maker Barry Callebaut, this renowned French leader, identified by some directors of Danone even before the ouster of Emmanuel Faber, should be available from September 1, the date on which he had planned to let go of the reins of Barry Callebaut .

His appointment was recorded by the board of directors at the end of "a rigorous selection process", according to a press release, two months after the meeting which had resulted in the final disavowal of his predecessor Emmanuel Faber, at the end of a sling shareholders combined with divisions within the board.
