The first, for an amount of 400 to 500 million euros, concerns the design, construction and deployment of a constellation, made up of 4 large multi-mission satellites.
This lunar satellite infrastructure would ensure communications between astronauts and the Lunar Gateway, the future lunar space station, and Earth.
Thanks to its navigation function, benefiting from the experience acquired during the development of Galileo, the European GPS, it would guide moon landing operations with an accuracy of 10 meters.
