New investment for Safran Corporate Ventures, the venture capital fund created by the French engine manufacturer in 2015. The fund achieves a double first.
It is investing for the first time in a German start-up, SkyFive, alongside the British fund Star Capital, a specialist in emerging infrastructures.
And Safran Corporate Ventures enters the high-speed internet market dedicated to commercial aviation.
The amount committed is confidential.
But the starting bet oscillates between 1 and 5 million euros.
