The organizing committee of the Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia reported that the total proceeds of this year's economic forum from contracts and agreements amounted to more than 3.8 trillion rubles, or about 52 billion dollars.

Russia Today website quoted Anton Kobyakov, advisor to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the Forum's Organizing Committee, as saying in a statement that the number of participants in the forum this year reached 13,000 people from 140 countries and 11,000 Russian and foreign companies, including 800 major corporations.

The Russian official added that during the forum, more than 800 agreements worth more than 3.8 trillion rubles were signed, pointing out that the 25th edition of the forum, which will be held next year, will be held in early June of 2022.

Today, the activities of the Petersburg International Economic Forum, which lasted for 4 days, end with active Arab and foreign participation.

The forum is the first major event to be held in attendance after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic last year.
