Suspicious package.
Polish police announced on Friday the seizure of 160 kilograms of cocaine hidden in several shipments of bananas delivered to a branch of the French retail chain Carrefour.

Carrefour Polska said its employees found "
suspicious packages in a new shipment of bananas
" Thursday in central Warsaw.

They immediately notified the police, who quickly secured the shipment and launched an investigation,
" said Carrefour Polska, quoted by the Polish press agency PAP.

Our channel is fully cooperating with investigators,
” the channel said.

Police video posted to Twitter showed green-colored packages containing cocaine hidden in cartons of bananas. The police, who estimated the seizure at more than 6.7 million euros, did not specify the origin of the cargo. Police spokesman Sylwester Marczak told PAP that the drugs had been seized "
in several places
" in the Warsaw area and in the neighboring Lodz area.
