For the majority of German consumers, there are good reasons to shop again in the shop as the corona pandemic subsides - and not just online.
This is shown by an international survey by the market research institute Yougov.
According to this, 63 percent of all German study participants stated that the actual appraisal of products was an important reason for shopping in a store.
On average for all the nations surveyed, this proportion was almost as high: 62 percent.
Yougov surveyed more than 19,000 people in 17 countries in Europe, Asia and America in January and February of this year.
Shopping experience
45 percent of those surveyed around the world named the faster processing of purchases in stationary retail as an advantage.
However, consumers from Germany were the least likely to mention this aspect (26 percent).
In return, 38 percent of Germans stated that the experience of a personal visit was a reason for them to enter the premises of a shop.
Overall, this was important to 34 percent of all respondents in the 17 countries examined.
