went to meet these polytechnicians who have chosen to be a shepherd, market gardener or farmer, who have gone off the beaten track.

I wanted to be a teacher and researcher in mathematics at the university,
” says Eudes, now a shepherd-cheesemaker at the head of a flock of nearly 200 ewes in the hills of Drôme Provençale.
