The data of the Moscow Stock Exchange today showed an increase in the exchange rate of the ruble against the dollar and the euro, amid the rise in oil prices.
Russian media reported that the exchange rate of the US dollar for tomorrow's accounts fell by 5 kopecks to reach 72.08 rubles, while the exchange rate of the European currency, the euro, fell by 12 kopecks to 87.2 rubles.
The price of Brent crude futures for the month of August rose by 0.41 percent to reach $72.99 a barrel.
A few days ago, the Russian Finance Ministry announced that it would change the structure of the National Welfare Fund within a month, as it would dispense with the dollar and replace the US currency with gold and other currencies.
