It is a major operation in the world of real estate that is emerging.
CDC Habitat, this subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts, leader in France in social and intermediate housing, will create a real estate fund with 8,000 housing units, the capital of which it will open to institutional investors.
This heritage will be worth 2.5 billion euros.
The institution will cede control.
"But we will keep 15% of the capital of this fund, which will align our interests with that of future investors,"
explains Vincent Mahé, CEO of CDC Habitat.
