The National Commission for Work in Private Houses (CNTCP) - a kind of
tripartite "parity"
with representation from the State, unions and employers - resolved to increase the
minimum wages of Domestic Personnel by 42% in 4 installments for the next 12 months
, from June as of May 2022. Applies to April values.
A revision clause was agreed in March 2022 based on the inflation that is reached in that month.
The fees are:
• 13% from June
• 12% in September
• 5% December
• 12% March 2022
Since September - it is not retroactive - an additional 1% per year of seniority and an additional 2% per unfavorable area

This year, the sector received an increase of 8% in February and 10%
in April, which complemented the delay in the increases agreed for 2020.

minimum salary

This category with retirement that includes cleaning, washing, ironing, maintenance, preparation and cooking of meals and, in general, all other typical household tasks is the largest in the sector: it comprises 78%.
In jobs, Domestic Personnel is one of the most numerous in the country.
According to the latest INDEC data (from the fourth quarter 2020), they total 1,478,000, of which 511,000 are registered and 967,000 are not registered.
According to Labor, with effective contributions to Social Security, in March 471,344 contributions were registered by wage earners of Casa Particulares compared to 498,034 in the same month of 2020. The maximum level of contributors was reached in October 2019 with 501,319 payments.
That's 30,000 fewer records.
For their part, employers of private house workers were excluded from
the Emergency Assistance Program for Work and Production (ATP)
by which the State paid the salaries of private workers for the equivalent of between one and two minimum wages.
And they are not included in Repro II even though with the restrictions they had to pay the salaries of the employees who could not work.
Employers reached by Earnings can deduct this year from the tax base payments to domestic service personnel and social contributions up to $ 167,678.40 in the year.
Represents a relief of up to $ 58,687 in the year.
Official data indicates that in 2020 employers deducted the allowed amount of Earnings from 211,663 domestic workers
