on the presence of ethylene oxide in sesame seeds from India, Bercy announced Tuesday a new food recall.
This time, it is about sixty references of ice cream, for many private labels, which contain a content higher than the maximum limit of this product classified carcinogenic.
In total, 7,000 lots are potentially contaminated, and have therefore been recalled.
Or a few hundred references.

The business falls badly for the manufacturers of ice cream parlors and the distributors, whereas the main part of the season starts and the temperatures are at the zenith.
But for the General Directorate for Competition, Consumption and Fraud Control (DGCCRF), this type of recall is fairly standard, even if in this case the number of references identified is greater.
